Vintage Sunday by Arthur Elgort

I decided to dedicate today’s Vintage Sunday to Arthur Elgort. The born and bred New Yorker originally studied painting, but found it too lonely. He started assisting a photographer until he got his lucky break. He’s known for his work for numerous Conde Nast Publications. His debut in 1971 British Vogue caused a sensation, especially his signature emphasis on movement and natural light. His book Model Manual (one of many he released) is full of pictures of the Supers from 1990 and should be in every photography and fashion lover’s collection. If it isn’t, for now, you can enjoy some of his work below.
Have a stylish day.
