Jacket old, dress, shoes and bag Valentino (old season)
When I decided to go to Paris in the Spring, I knew I wanted to do a photoshoot that was inspired by the city of Love. In my 3part series I’m showing you three dresses that are perfect for an upcoming wedding season but also can be dressed down and used for various other occasions. I’m the biggest believer in getting your use out of items. If I love something, why wear it only once and then letting dust get all over it.
If you read part 1 of my series, you would have seen the prettiest fit and flare dress that I’ll be probably wearing all summer, but is definitely wedding guest appropriate. Well the dress I’m wearing here has the same qualities. It’s made from the nicest stretchy satin and fits like a glove. It was love at first sight with the print and the colour palette, but when I tried it on I loved it even more. It really fits well.
It’s got thin straps and little off shoulder ruffle and looks so pretty on its own or with a jacket thrown over it. Again I’m planning on wearing it loads when the weather gets a bit warmer.
I let the print do all the talking and paired it with neutral accessories, but I think metallic would also look great.
Looking at these pictures is making me miss Paris. It’s such a great city and so photogenic! Don’t miss the part 3 of my Wedding guest series next week and there will be also a little guide to Paris after that.
Have you got a wedding to attend to this year? Have you got your dress yet?
Have a stylish day.
