Is it me or is everyone getting older but Kate Moss? How has she just celebrated her 40th birthday is beyond me. She looks incredible! I hope I look half as good at her age. In celebration of this special occasion a beautiful books has been released to celebrate her influence in fashion industry.
It’s full of amazing photographs, from both her successful career and rock’n’roll life.
I have really enjoyed reading mine (not finished yet..) . It is a must have for every fashionista and will look good on any coffee table.
Oh I sure do love fashion books.

Have  stylish day.

River Island Paris sweatshirt / Topshop jeans / Jimmy Choo nude pumps / Miu Miu pink handbag / Pink earrings / Chanel makeup

This is kind of early Christmas wishlist.. I bought the Paris sweatshirt in navy in the end and can’t wait to wear it. I am craving all things burgundy and a pair of jeans seems like a good purchase. My wardrobe is also in serious need of nude pumps. Jimmy Choo shoes are my favourite as are Miu Miu handbags at the moment.

Phase Eight wishlist

Phase Eight wishlist

Autumn is upon us and that means new season’s clothes. I’m already starting to think about the festive season, because that means parties which means pretty dresses. I’m really loving florals and prints at the moment (they never go out of style) and Phase Eight’s autumn collection is fitting the bill perfectly. There’s so many dresses on my wishlist! They have something for everyone. And not just for special occasion.
I know where I’ll be spending my next paycheck..
You can shop them all here.

Fall-ing

AW wish list

I have been getting ready for fall for quite a while (I bought my winter coats in summer sales..). And as much as I’m enjoying current beautiful weather, I have to admit I am slightly looking forward to A/W. Here’s few things I bought already or I’m planning to buy soon.
I mostly can’t wait to wear burgundy and cobalt blue (along with pink), printed pants and dresses, darker make-up and nails.
What are you most looking forward to this autumn?

Have a stylish day.

I have wanted the pink polka dot JCrew jumper for ages and I was mega happy when the BF treated me. Can’t wait for my first JCrew item to arrive and hoping to buy many more. Also look forward to them opening thei first UK store to be opened later this year. Are you a JCrew fan?
My favourite past time is reading, especially fashion magazines. I’ve just renewed my ELLE subscription too so couldn’t be happier.
As Miss Pink I totally need that pink Valentino bag in my life. It’s my ultimate dream buy for this year. Time to start saving up…

Marilyn Monroe once said, that all she wears to bed is Chanel No5. I wear Chanel Chance (my all time fave) and a lacy nightie.
The new place I share with the BF is nearly finished. We’ve used a lot of black and white. I love drinking coffee from our new stripy mugs with a view of NYC skyline pictures.
Have a stylish day.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

For today’s style icon I chose not one but two! It’s a special treat… Although sometimes they may seen like one. They are 24-year old twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. These days their styles vary and it may be easier to recognize them, but at times you couldn’t tell them apart. They started their career as babies in the series Full House, apparently because they were the most behaved at the casting, and the rest is a history. String of succesful movies followed and the Olsens brand was born. They managed to raked in millions and have fans all over the world, selling all sort of merchandise under their names. But as their got older and became more interested in fashion, they started to get credit for their fashion choices as well. Especially Mary-Kate with her bohemian look, appeared on many fashion pages. That’s probably when they realized their passion for design and launched a collection of clothing The Row.  Eventually they started another one called Elizabeth and James, called after their siblins. They are both very popular and these days they get a regular show at New York fashion week. Both twins are often seen and front rows of shows and a party circuit. I usually love their outfits, althought they’ve made some bad choices in the past. But who doesn’t. I’m definitely interested how their labels are gonna develop though and hope they will continue to do well in the business.
Have a stylish day.

Fashion politics – by Michelle Obama

When Barack Obama was voted the first black president it was a massive change for the world of politics. Little did we know his wife would have a huge impact in the world as well. His speech about change was very appropriate for more than the obvious reasons. Ever since the inaugural ball, and Michelle Obama stepping out in THAT gown by Jason Wu, the world of fashion suspected maybe the change wouldn’t only happen in politics.
Michelle Obama knows how to dress. It’s been a while since people were so interested what the First lady would wear. Probably not since Grace Kelly, the princess of Monaco, who’s to this day seen as a style icon, would the First Woman of state cause headlines of her own and even appear on a cover of Vogue! But people can’t get enough of Michelle Obama. There is more that meets the eye, but today we’re talking about here style. And great style she’s got! With nice womanly figure it makes the choices easier. She often wears well fitted shift dresses that suit her so well. And thanks to her skin colour she can be mire bold with her colour choices and she’s making the most of it. Expect the lot: yellows, greens, reds, purples.. She wears it all with grace and looks great. She shows women that you can have fun with ‘workwear’. There are certain politics in fashion and Michelle is a proof there can be fashion in politics. Other First Ladies should take notice! Hers is a way how to look glamorous and present your state well at the same time.

Stylish home

I not only love fashion, but anything stylish. I’ve been to some very cool places, bars, clubs, homes and paid a special attention to decor. I very much appreciate it, when people express themselves not only throught clothes, but through their home as well. You can expect in my place a lot of black, white and pink(same as in my wardrobe). I saw this armchair from John Lewis and loved it straight away. I wouldn’t go overboard with pink, but I can see this somewhere in the corner of a living room, adding a bit of colour and a feminine touch. Amazing! Availabe to order online or instore.
