Paris Fashion Week AW12 – Carven

I’ve been loving Carven for quite a few seasons now. When Madame Carven set up her label in the 1940s she wanted to simplify fashion, keep it chic and accessible. I’m sure she did just that and Guillaume Henry has kept the heritage marvellously since his appointment for the label in 2010. He has taken it to a new level though and got Carven on the fashion forefront and everyone’s lips. His collections are very wearable and despite being designer, not ridiculously overpriced. I’m loving it all.
This season my-wardrobe.com, started stocking the cool Parisian brand and above is a selection of my favourite pieces.
Long-sleeved tee, skirt, bandage jersey shirt dress, blue bandage dress, black one shoulder dress, yellow jacket, print dress
Below are some looks of the medieval inspired AW 12 From Paris Fashion Week. I’m loving all the fur and beautiful coats.

The perfect print dress – by Carven

I keep saying this and it is still the case – it’s all about the prints! If there is one trend that has been on the fashion forefront for quite some time, and keeps going strong, it’s prints in any shape and form.
This print dress by Carven is currently on top of my shopping list. It’s so versatile that you can easily dress it up or down. You can buy it here. I have been a fan of Carven and Guillaume Henry for a while now and am happy to find out, that from this season on, they’ll be stocked at My-wardrobe.com. Lately I’ve been shopping more and more online as I don’t always have time to go to the shops, so it’s good to get a wider variety of stock at different sites.

Carven at Paris Fashion Week SS 12

Oh to be in Paris right now, watching all the shows at Paris Fashion Week. Unfortunately I’m in London (sunny I’m happy to say), but that doesn’t stop me from checking all the images at Style.com. One of my favourites so far has been by Carven. I’m a big fan of the slightly quirky label. Guillaume Henry is a master of draping, interesting detailing and unexpected twists.
His SS 12 was a great display of this. The interesting cut-outs and lace inserts show his originality, the shape of last two dresses is amazing and very Carven. All the designs are very lady like with Parisian chic. I’m seriously covering the shorts and printed jumper combo and under the knee dress among other things. All are lust-worthy pieces for effortles dressing. And again Carven is one of those brands that won’t cost you fortune. Perfect!
What’s your favourite PFW show so far?
Have a stylish day.
