This year I decided to stick to quality over quantity and invest more in good quality basics. I’ve realised time and time again that I get much more wear out of stuff I spend a bit more on. That’s not to say you can’t buy great items on high street (Zara, H&M and ASOS being the winners), but sometimes it’s good to invest. Some of these items have been on my wish list for a while.. I’ve finally purchased Helmut Lang blazer in sales and can’t wait to receive it. I’ve got my eyes on a Muubaa jacket that I’m hoping to buy next pay day. And over the course of the year hopefully I’ll add these to my wardrobe too.
What are your dream buys for this year?
Have a stylish day and a good weekend.
Whether you’re looking for that special gift for someone or want to treat yourself after all that shopping for others, this is the ultimate in luxury and I wouldn’t mind receiving any of this. There’s wishing..
Have a stylish day. And a good weekend.
I remember the Prada SS 12 fashion show, like it was yesterday. It was different, it was innovative, it was what Miucciua Prada does best. Now the images have been released for official campaign, which is set around a gas station in a 1950′s inspired shoot photographed by Steven Meisel and it screams perfection. You can just feel the fifties vibe. And could Natasha Poly look any hotter? The other models included are: Meghan Collison, Elise Crombez, Ymre Stiekema, Katryn Kruger and Kati Nescher. What do you think?
Have a stylish day.
In fashion, some things come and go, some never really leave and become timeless classics and some come back, maybe slightly unexpectedly. Take a mule for example. After years and years of stilettos and highest of highs platforms, this seems sudden. Out of a blue comes a return of shoe that many fear wearing. They don’t offer that much support and make noises when walking in them. But it makes sense. With the boom of super feminine clothes and lady-like glamour many styles of shoes may be too harsh. It’s nostalgia in many shapes and forms. Don’t worry though that sky high pumps will disappear, they are still a big hit. But when the likes of Miuccia Prada (both for Prada and Miu Miu) and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton decide to bring back mules, some changes in footwear are to be expected. And whith the styles they showed, I’m quite excited. Are you? Will you wear mules?
Have a stylish day.
