Christy Turlington for Vogue Italia

As many of you seemed to like my last Vintage Sunday post featuring the ever so beautiful Christy Turlington, I decided to show that her beauty really is timeless. Just look at this editorial photographed by Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia July 2010, she doesn’t seem to have aged a day! What I love about this photoshoot is the contrast of beautiful clothes and rough background. I think it makes it more interesting. Vogue Italia of course isn’t afraid of experimenting. Their editorials are great.
Oh and by the way, does anyone know Christy’s beauty secrets? I want to look like that!
Have a stylish day.

Kristen Stewart Vogue Italia

I am slowly becoming a big fan of Kristen Stewart. I loved all the Twilight books but it’s taken me a while to watch the movies, as I usually get put off things there’s much hype about. I eventually watched it and thought she was pretty decent and can’t wait to see the last movie.
Kristen has made some bad red carpet choices but lately she seems to be getting it right, maybe as her fame continues to grow she makes more effort. She has done some amazing editorials recently including the one I loved for W magazine. Here she is photographed by Michelangelo di Battista for November Vogue Italia in a photoshoot that is very much in Twilight theme, which is obviously perfect timing at the latest instalment of the series is about to hit the cinema. As I said many times before I love Vogue Italia because it tends to be more daring. This pairing with Stewart seems perfect. I love the make-up, the clothes, everything is great. Now I’m even more excited to watch the film and also can’t wait to see what she’s going to wear to all those premiers.
Have a stylish day.

Michaela Kocianova for Vogue Italia

I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be a regular blogger for Czech Elle. Those who follow me on twitter probably know about this already, but I wanted to share this news with you here as well. I’ll post the link when it’s all ready.
To celebrate I’m bringing you another editorial featuring Czech model, this time gorgeous Michaela Kocianova by Greg Kadel for Vogue Italia. Doesn’t she look stunning! I promise to show you some editorials from Elle CZ soon as well – it only seems appropriate. I’m going to Prague soon some I’ll stock up on Czech magazines. It’s my pre fashion week trip to relax with the family and get pampered for a fraction of UK prices. Can’t wait!
Have a stylish day.

Chrisopher Bailey · Emma Watson · Vogue Italia

Emma Watson – from Hermione to fashionista

For my first style icon I picked Emma Watson. I like most of her fashion choices and think she is a great ambassador of British fashion. Now the last Harry Potter film has come out (part 1), she is promoting the movie and you can see her everywhere. And I can easily understand why she’s so popular. She’s turned from geeky Hermione to a sexy movie star, she’s been on covers of major magazines including Vogue, modeling for Burberry (Christopher Bailey designed few outfits especially for her) and is fashion show’s front row darling. Look again at her Vogue Italia shoot, which I love, here. But that’s not enough for her. She’s studying in America for a degree. Beauty and brain, with a promising career ahead. Jealous? Me?..
Have a stylish day.

Emma Watson for Burberry

Not only the whole collection looked great, the campaign is spot on as well. Christopher Bailey was the perfect choice for Burberry. He’s turned the label around and it’s hotter than ever. And how great Emma Watson looks in the SS’10 campaign! Long gone are the days of Hermione Granger (off Harry Potter). I’ve already posted her editorial for Vogue Italia some time ago and I’m dedicating her another post. That’s something to say! She’s fresh faced and represents the brand well, I think. Well done to her, because I believe now she’s got onto the fashion radar, she’s here to stay.
Have a stylish day.

Chanel · chic · Kate Moss · Vogue Italia

feast for eyes

I realized that after two posts about make-up you might need something more fashion-y. So I’m gonna show you a picture I’ve come across recently. It’s a photograph of a very young Kate Moss in Vogue Italia (year 1992 edition). I love black and white photography and this one is just so chic! Very Chanel with a nice twist. LOVE!!!
